N Srinivasan, the former BCCI president, has returned to cricket administration as the chairman of Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited (CSKCL) in May, succeeding his cousin R Srinivasan. This marked his official involvement with the franchise he founded in 2008. His daughter, Rupa Gurunath, has also been appointed as the wholetime director of CSKCL.
