Maharashtra govt allots plot unutilised by Gavaskar to Rahane
The Maharashtra state cabinet has allocated a 2,000 sq m plot at Bandra reclamation to Ajinkya Rahane for developing a cricket academy. Initially given to Sunil Gavaskar in 1988, the land was returned in May 2022. Rahane's academy must serve 15% underprivileged children and be finished within two years of possession.
