After nearly four years of hiatus, BTS is back with their much anticipated comeback. On March 20, the global Kpop boyband released their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG’. Within a week of its release, the album has already broken several records, and ARMYs are up for more.Within the first 10 minutes of its release, the album achieved million-seller status on the Hanteo Chart. By the end of the first week, it had moved 4.2 million copies, shattering the group’s own previous records.Despite digital-first consumption, physical albums remain crucial for ARMYs. The lead single ‘Swim’ debuted at No. 1 on the Spotify Global Top 50 with over 15 million streams in a single day. Perhaps more impressive was the "line-up" effect: in South Korea, the entire 14-track list occupied the top 14 spots on the Melon Top 100, a feat of chart saturation that few artists in history have ever mimicked.
