'Baggy green' Bradman wore during historic India series sells for $311,000
Don Bradman's 'baggy green' cap from the 1947-48 tour of Australia when India first visited as an independent nation has set a new auction record, selling for A$479,700. The cap, given by Bradman to India's team manager Pankaj 'Peter' Gupta, reflects his stellar performance during the series, where he scored 715 runs at an average of 178.75.
